Autumn is Natalie & Jonathan’s favorite time of year, so what better way to celebrate their love than an Autumn wedding in October! The nuptials took place at The Farm at Hickory Ridge and The Barn at Green’s Hollow in Adairsville, Georgia. Green’s Hollow is a barn wedding venue featuring a Roadhouse Barn for unique rustic, vintage inspired weddings, and is located just minutes from Atlanta, Rome, Cartersville, Dalton, and Chattanooga Tennessee.
Inspiration was abundant, considering what nature provides in the Fall! Think pumpkins nested on colorful autumn leaves and lanterns on shepherds hooks decorated with bittersweet. Voila’ for the autumn inspired aisle decor! The rich color palate included:
Pumpkin, green apple, apple reds, honey, and weathered wood….
Because they chose a grove of trees as the site for their autumn wedding ceremony, we worked together to custom design these adorable Save the Dates and Invitations! Natalie loves attention to detail, so we decided on wrapping what was originally a simple two-part Save the Date with raffia and a paper punched maple leaf!
Our design crew worked with Natalie & Jonathan to assure the arbor decor reflected the autumn colors in an elegant manner, but with a touch of whimsical detail. A woodsy, enchanted forest design began to emerge, complete with fiddlehead fern, vines, and hanging amaranthus.

Autumn centerpieces for the tented reception included Hydrangea, Dahlias, Vendella Roses, Hypericum Berry, Bells of Ireland, Mini Green Hydrangea, and Curly Willow. Other guests tables featured a centerpiece with the couples’ monogram on cylinders of green and red apples with lanterns.
There was no question regarding the wedding cake… Natalie had to have her favorite. The chocolate wedding cake was frosted with both chocolate and milk chocolate to give the layers interest and detail. The cake sat on a wonderful tree stump platform, and was provided by Honeymoon Bakery.
The autumn leaves inspired wedding programs were placed in an antique galvanized bucket full of green and red apples on a bed of raffia!
Such a cute golf-themed groom’s cake! The groom and groomsmen played golf the morning of the wedding at nearby Barnsley Gardens Resort. The tree stump platform provides a smaller cake with a wonderful wow factor.
Natalie’s toss was a fortune bouquet, which comes apart when tossed, providing each single lady with a flower with ribbon fortune attached. (It’s so fun making up the fortunes with your friends in mind!) Fun, unique, and totally unexpected!
Natalie & Jonathan chose Keith and Nema, with Charis Photography to photograph their wedding. An excellent choice! We have worked with them on several weddings, and highly recommend them!
